Ingredients
  • 30g coarse ground coffee
  • 500g filtered water (just off boil, around 200°F/93°C)
  • French press
  • Scale
  • Timer
Instructions
  1. Preheat French press with hot water. Discard water.
  2. Add coffee grounds to the press.
  3. Start timer. Pour all water, ensuring grounds are saturated. Give a gentle stir if needed.
  4. Place lid on top, plunger up. Steep for 4 minutes.
  5. Slowly and steadily press the plunger down.
  6. Serve immediately to prevent over-extraction. Savor the richness.
