A Recipe for a Vibrant, Clean AeroPress

A guide to the AeroPress, focusing on the 'inverted' method to brew a clean, bright, and vibrant cup of coffee, free of any sediment.

Ingredients

  • 18g of coffee, medium-fine grind
  • 200g of water

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the AeroPress - Insert the plunger into the chamber just enough to be stable upside down. Add the coffee grounds.
  2. Step 2: Brew - Start a timer and add all 200g of hot water. Stir gently, then place the filter cap on top.
  3. Step 3: Steep and Plunge - Let the coffee steep for 2 minutes. At 2 minutes, carefully flip the AeroPress onto a sturdy mug and press down gently and consistently for 30 seconds.
  4. Step 4: Dilute and Serve - The result is a small amount of coffee concentrate. Add hot water to dilute to your desired strength and enjoy.
